Birds on a Feather

I took my camera to “The Monastery” today, which is a park in Cumberland, RI. If you go down “Nine Men’s Misery” trail, you will come upon a couple of ponds where a lot of birds like to congregate. The birds can often be seen perching among the feathery reeds, making for some intriguing photos.

Here are some Red-winged Blackbirds.

The blackbird (Common Grackle?) on the top looks unfazed, but he was quickly chased off by the rowdy bird on the bottom. 0002
