PEI Thunder Cove and More

Saturday morning, I made my way back to Thunder Cove to try to capture some sunrise pictures. I got there just after the sun made it over the horizon.

The beaches slope very gently into the ocean, creating a lot of tide pools. You have to walk out quite a distance to actually swim.  

 

 

 

On the way back I saw some cows.  

In addition to light houses and churches, PEI is filled with farms, creating for some stunning landscapes.

 

 

 

 

The last two pictures were taken on the drive from Summside to Charlottetown. We took the Central Coastal Drive which meanders along the north coast and goes through Cavendish.
